On March 20, 2009, Captain Richard A. Bosley with the Avon Police Department was one of two hundred fifty-five law enforcement officers to graduate from the FBI National Academy Program at Quantico, Virginia. The 236th Session of the National Academy consisted of men and women from 48 states. Richard Bosley was one of the selected officers having proven records as a professional within his agency. He received 10 weeks of advanced investigative, management, and fitness training from the National Academy Program that is internationally known for its academic excellence. His training began on January 12, 2009. Richard A. Bosley currently serves as Captain at the Avon Police Department and has been in law enforcement since 1993.
